Project Overview

On October 30, 2024, GSL Energy successfully installed a 100kW Deye inverter and a 200kWh high-voltage energy storage system at a rural school in Malaysia. The system was designed to provide reliable, sustainable power to the school, reducing its dependency on the local grid and lowering energy costs.

Challenges

Located in a remote village, the school faced frequent power outages and limited access to stable electricity. This disruption hindered daily operations and the use of essential educational equipment. The challenge was to provide a dependable energy solution to ensure uninterrupted power for the school's needs.

Solution

GSL Energy provided an integrated renewable energy solution, installing a Deye 100kW inverter paired with a 200kWh high-voltage energy storage system. The inverter efficiently converts solar power into electricity, while the storage system captures and stores excess energy for use during peak demand or power outages.

Energy Independence: The school now enjoys a reliable energy supply, enabling uninterrupted educational activities even during grid failures.
