Residential Battery Product Range

Browse the linked battery series. High-voltage and all-in-one ranges may also include larger systems; check the model's intended application and inverter requirements before selection.

Why Choose GSL ENERGY Home Battery Storage

A home solar battery should fit the household load, the inverter and the available installation space. GSL ENERGY supports product evaluation with model-specific specifications, integration information and documentation for installers and distribution partners.

Modular

Flexible Installation & Expansion

Wall-mounted, stackable and floor-standing options support different installation layouts. Plan additional capacity within the selected model's approved parallel or series limits.

Solar Storage

Use More of Your Solar Energy

A compatible solar-plus-storage system can store daytime generation for use later. Energy savings depend on solar production, household consumption, electricity tariffs and system operation.

System Matching

Inverter Integration Support

Confirm the inverter model, firmware, battery voltage and communication requirements before ordering. Monitoring and communication options should be checked against the selected battery configuration.

Datasheets Manuals Documentation

Model-Specific Product Documentation

Review the selected model's BMS protections, installation manual, warranty terms and applicable certification documents. Requirements differ by product configuration and destination market.

Home Battery Storage Applications

Define the operating goal before selecting a battery. The same nominal capacity can produce different results depending on the household load, solar generation and inverter configuration.

Residential Solar Energy Storage

Store surplus solar generation for use in the evening or when production is lower. Residential solar battery storage should be sized against the energy available for charging and the household demand it is intended to serve.

Home Battery Backup for Essential Loads

Plan backup power around defined circuits such as lighting, refrigeration and communications. Backup operation requires an appropriately configured inverter, transfer arrangement and sufficient battery discharge power.

Time-of-Use Energy Management

Where tariffs and local rules permit, a home battery system can shift energy use between charging and discharge periods. Evaluate the tariff difference, conversion losses and battery operating limits when assessing potential savings.

Off-Grid Solar Battery Storage

For homes with limited or unavailable grid supply, match solar generation and usable storage to seasonal demand. Discuss reserve capacity, high-starting-current loads and an appropriate recharge or backup source.

How to Select a Residential Energy Storage Battery

Provide these project details so the battery, inverter and installation can be evaluated together.

Energy Capacity & Backup Duration

List the loads to be supported and the required operating time. Estimate usable energy from load power multiplied by duration, then account for conversion losses, reserve settings and the battery's permitted operating range. kWh describes energy; kW describes power.

Voltage & Inverter Compatibility

Confirm whether the inverter requires a low-voltage or high-voltage battery, its DC operating window and its charge/discharge limits. Communication protocol, firmware and the approved battery configuration also need verification.

Installation Environment

Check available space, mounting structure, equipment weight, ventilation, operating temperature and enclosure rating. Indoor or outdoor suitability depends on the specific model and local installation requirements.

Expansion & Procurement Requirements

Discuss future capacity, approved module combinations and installation access before ordering. For distribution or OEM/ODM projects, include destination market, order quantity, branding requirements and documentation needs.

Residential Battery Expert Insights

Practical answers about home solar battery storage, backup capacity, inverter matching, installation and procurement.

What is a residential energy storage battery?

A residential energy storage battery stores electricity for use in a home. When paired with suitable power conversion and control equipment, it can support solar self-consumption, planned backup circuits or energy management. A battery-only product requires compatible equipment to form a complete system.

How much battery capacity does a home need?

Start with the energy consumption of the loads you want to support and the required duration. A 1kW average load running for five hours requires 5kWh at the load before conversion losses and reserve allowances. Final selection also depends on usable battery capacity, discharge power, solar recharge and inverter limits.

What is the difference between kW and kWh?

kW measures power: the rate at which equipment uses or supplies electricity. kWh measures energy: the amount stored or consumed over time. Battery capacity alone does not determine whether a system can start a motor or support several appliances simultaneously; check the battery and inverter power ratings.

Can a home battery provide power during a grid outage?

It can when the complete installation supports backup operation. The inverter, transfer or isolation equipment, wiring and designated backup loads must be configured for that function. A grid-connected solar battery installation does not automatically provide whole-home backup.

Can GSL ENERGY batteries work with my existing solar inverter?

Compatibility should be reviewed for the exact inverter model, firmware and battery configuration. Provide the inverter specifications so voltage, current limits, communication and operating modes can be checked. An existing solar installation may require an additional compatible inverter or a different integration approach.

Should I choose a low-voltage or high-voltage battery system?

Choose according to the inverter architecture, required power, capacity and installation design. Low-voltage and high-voltage batteries cannot be interchanged without checking the inverter's battery input requirements. Confirm the complete configuration with the installer or system integrator.

How do wall-mounted, stackable and all-in-one systems differ?

Wall-mounted batteries can conserve floor space when the supporting structure is suitable. Stackable systems use a modular arrangement, subject to model-specific limits. All-in-one systems combine components in an integrated configuration; review exactly what is included and the site requirements before selection.

Can I expand my home battery storage later?

Expansion is possible only within the selected model's approved configuration. Check module compatibility, maximum unit count, battery age and condition, BMS requirements, inverter limits and commissioning procedures. Plan the expansion pathway before the initial purchase.

Can residential batteries be installed outdoors?

Outdoor suitability depends on the enclosure rating, operating temperature range, installation manual and site conditions. Direct sun, rain exposure, flooding risk and local requirements must be considered. Select the actual model for the environment rather than assuming all products support outdoor installation.

What certification and warranty documents should I request?

Request documentation for the exact model and system configuration being purchased. Battery-level and complete-system requirements can differ by destination market. Review the applicable certificates or test reports, installation requirements, warranty coverage, exclusions and operating conditions.

Does GSL ENERGY support residential battery OEM/ODM projects?

For distributors, installers and integration partners, discuss the required capacity, electrical configuration, enclosure format, communication interfaces, branding and destination market. Available options, testing scope, order requirements and delivery arrangements are confirmed during the technical and commercial review.

What information should I provide for a quotation?

Include the country or destination market, inverter model, required energy capacity, load power, backup duration, solar system details, installation environment and quantity. For existing installations, provide equipment specifications so the proposed battery can be assessed against the actual system.
