On January 2, 2025, GSL Energy completed the deployment of a 50kWh high voltage energy storage system with Deye three-phase inverters at a business park in Israel. As a global leader in solar energy applications, Israel has abundant sunshine resources and a mature energy storage market environment. The implementation of this project aims to significantly improve the energy self-sufficiency of the business park, effectively cope with the impact of grid fluctuations, and reduce the cost of electricity in commercial and industrial operations.
Project Configuration
1. Energy storage system: Deye 50kW/60kWh high-voltage energy storage system, the core of which is a lithium iron phosphate battery pack. The system has a strong capacity expansion capability and can support a maximum capacity expansion of 360kWh.
2. Inverter: The Deye three-phase inverter is equipped with excellent performance and stability. Its high conversion efficiency can minimize energy loss and effectively convert renewable energy sources such as solar energy into electricity for use in the park. At the same time, the inverter also has good grid adaptability, and can be seamlessly connected with the local grid system in Israel, to ensure the stable output of power.
Project Effectiveness
1. Improved energy self-sufficiency: Since the project was put into use, the energy self-sufficiency of the business park has been significantly improved. Through rational scheduling of the energy storage system, solar power is utilized to generate electricity and store excess power during sunny days, and the stored power is released at night or during peak hours, reducing dependence on the power grid.
2. Responding to grid fluctuations: When the grid fluctuates or fails, the energy storage system can quickly switch to off-grid mode to provide a stable power supply for the important loads in the park, ensuring the normal operation of the park. For example, during a brief grid outage, the energy storage system was activated in an instant to ensure the uninterrupted operation of data centers and other critical facilities in the park.
3. Reduced electricity costs: By utilizing the energy storage system to charge during low electricity prices and discharge during peak electricity prices, the business park has successfully reduced electricity costs. According to statistics, in the first month after the project was implemented, the park's electricity bill was reduced by about 20% compared to the previous month, and the economic benefits will be even more significant with the continuous operation of the energy storage system.
The 50kWh high-voltage energy storage system and Deye inverter project implemented by GSL Energy in the Israeli business park has achieved remarkable results, providing a successful example for industrial and commercial energy storage applications in Israel and around the world, and is of great significance in promoting the development and application of energy storage technology.
